About this event

How functional programming makes you a better developer.

Learn the fundamentals of Haskell with Lars Brünjes.

Inductive Haskell Event initiates a series of cyclical meetings introducing functional programming to developers. During the intensive 2-day programming workshop, you will learn the basics of functional programming and consolidate your knowledge. Coding sessions will be interlaced with short discussions as well as presentations about opportunities for future Haskellers.

Are you experienced in object-oriented programming and want to understand the benefits of functional programming? Or maybe you can already use functional programming and wish to get to know Haskell? Make sure to visit Łódź to see how functional programming and its embedded abstraction can help you become a better developer.

Workshops will be led by the renowned Lars Brünjes, the Education Director at Input Output Global Inc.. He holds a Ph.D. in pure mathematics from the University of Regensburg, Germany, and is experienced in teaching Haskell during numerous events across the globe.

We encourage all attendees to familiarise themselves with sections 1 (Intro and tools) and 2 (Data types, Signatures, and Polymorphism) here Haskell course. This way, our workshop team will be able to point up the interesting part - the practice - and minimize the theory. Grasp this opportunity to learn from the best in the field and sign up for our free event. A limited number of tickets are available.
